might i digress abit tonight ppl. in case you havent read abt it in the media or papers, there is a humanitarian crisis thats going on in eastern africa. Darfur is the place, and it has revealed and ugly case of genocide where close to 400,000 people have been killed and more than 4 million people displaced as wat is being called the "ethnic cleansing" of sudanese.
initially thought as civil war between muslims and non muslims, it was eventually finalised that the conflict is all muslims and it has caused a stir in that part of the world. most of Hollywood A-list have voiced out their opinions and have used their celebrity status to educate the world on the gravity of the situation there. there are also speculations that russia and china have been sponsoring the sundanese government -who' backing up the militants- by giving them fighter jets and other assortment of weapons. alarms have been raised due to this and all the "superpowers" can do is watch and see as more people get killed or displaced.
the african union have been trying to take action on this but they are bounded by too much "NOs" rather than green light to help the Darfurians, the innocent people. angering myself each and every time is WAT IS THE UNITED NATIONS DOING ABOUT THIS??? AND THE UNITED STATES?? are they like gonna fucking wait till the whole fucking the place is burnt to the ground before they are gonna release a UN resolution on Darfur??? a big FUCK YOU goes out to them.
wat i can prophesize is that Darfur is another Somalia in 1993. only that Darfur is much of a bigger scale. the UN finally will come in and instill peace there but still there will be bloodshed which includes the peacekeepers themselves. and the US will call in further warfare by bringing in their Army Rangers and Navy Seals and the Delta Force to eradicate the aggressors. wat i can see is, its gonna be another Iraq, and the world isn't ready for another Iraq. so revolutioknights, i leave it up to you for further thoughts. i can share only up to here cause as for the rest of my thoughts, its pretty ugly and not many of you could take that hate. peace outttttttt
